About ~DOF~

I thought I might explain a little about this site and it's History. Well, It was created on April 12th (actually earlier but that hasn't been recorded so that's now... sadly forgotten. I started this site because... I won an award from ++My Favourite++ and I didn't know where to put it, so I thought I would make a site so that I could just put it there. I just read some tutorials and got a pre-made layout from Inuyasha Dreams because I thought it was pretty. I followed instructions and what do ya know? I got a site. I named it ~Dreams of Flying~ because I've always wanted to fly... literally, and well characters from Inuyasha always seem to be "flying" (Kirara, Inuyasha sometimes, Kagome sometimes, Shippo, etc.) I started out with Freewebs and then I read a few tutorials and attempted my first layout.

It was pretty ugly but well I did it :P I read more tutorials and made my head go dizzy but kept on trying. I learned about PHP and it sounded too good to be true but I tried that. That's why I switched to Host Ultra. It worked well for me, except for the Pop-ups but well, there's gotta be some sort of catch and I thought it's not too bad, considering the fact that this was meant to be more of a blog/personal type thing. Now, it's more of a shrine or just a Fansite, I haven't done much on information yet but I'm planning to. I've added lots of games and such for the visitors because it's them that makes my site "successful" I try to do more things for them and as of right now, I even bought Photoshop Elements to make graphics (not the best might I add but well I'm getting there... Host Ultra was getting top be such a bother that I coudnl't stand it anymore, it was driving the visitors away and the popups were such a nuissance. So I wanted to get hosted. I tried a few places but well that didn't work because I didnt' get a reply back so I just kinda stopped updating a while. But then, a sibling (Angel Kagome from Surrealistic Momento) asked a friend and well I applied and got accepted! That's how I was at Dysfuncti0nal for a bit.

Later on, Dysfuncti0nal had to close down so I had to find a new host. Amber, my affy from Shattered Glass offered to host me ^^ I am very grateful to her and now I'm being hosted at Neko-Simba.net
